I found this one =O
Samsung G600
It has a awesome 5.0 megapixal camera. Plus a pretty good media player.
The only problems I’ve found are that apparently it is pretty heavy (due to the amount of things put into such a small space; or so it says) making it hard to text with one hand.
But despite that it seems like a really good phone. Its slim design makes it even better.
Its RRP is $599 but on ebay I found one for a total of $380 (includes all items and has warrenty, plus its from australia which means it shouldnt be a fake.)

At 14mm thick and 104 grams, 5-megapixels camera phones don’t come any smaller than this one. Its shiny silver coloured fascia may appear as brushed metal from a distance, but like most Samsung handsets, the G600 is made almost entirely out of plastic. Not that this should be a strong deterrent; the handset still feels adequately sturdy.Overall, the G600 is a nicely designed phone. Rounded edges give the handset a smooth and streamlined feel, and all buttons on the handset are large and well-spaced; both on top of the phone and including the numeric keypad under the slider.The camera lens for the 5-megapixel shooter is also concealed beneath the sliding mechanism which seems a better solution than the bulky lens cover of the Nokia N95 or to going without a cover, as with LG’s Viewty. The only downside to the camera placement is that you don’t have much of the phone to hold onto after sliding the phone open and turning the handset sideways to take photos with the dedicated camera button on the side, which is necessary as the auto-focus tool only works when using the dedicated key.The G600 sports a 2.2-inch LCD display which doesn’t do the 5-megapixel photo previews justice, but is bright and sharp enough for menu and application navigation. The user interface is attractive and well laid out; all applications and setting options are exactly where you’d expect to find them.

Today has been a big/great day. Today my sister, Taygan, and I went down to the local op-shop for their bag $5 big day. We got into town at about 9.20. Considering the op-shop opened at 9.30 we had enough time to go get coffees (or in my case a hot chocolate) and something smal to eat. When the shop opened we were the first in the door. Now, when we first heard of this big sale we thought it was just $5 for a normal shopping size bag. Meaning we would have bought about 5 bags, but when we got in the door we were both given huge bags (almost bin bag size.) We also had a plan of how we were going to make the best of this great sale. We both started at either end of the room and worked our way around past each other, picking up any treasures either of us had left behind.
The first thing I found was this large checked shirt…
I later on found the hat after looking up randomly and seeing lots of boxes on top of the racks with labels on them. I found it in a box labled “Winter hats” and that was the exact thing I hoped for when I got the box down.
Then I found this cute very long woolen vest.
The detail is gorgeous and I was also hoping to find one of these long vests just to wear as a dress sort of thing.
I then scooted on to the shoe section where there were lots of really cute shoes but most of them were far too small. I did however find these ones…
Good news: I’ve wanted these for awhile now but havnt been searching, the first op-shop I go into has them.
Bad News: When I tryed them on they wouldnt fit on my foot. Taygan told me to get them anyway so we could sell them on Ebay.
Good news: When I got home I tryed them on with less socks on and they fit =D
WORST NEWS: We tryed to stretch them by pooring hot water on them and then putting on big sock and walking around in them, unfortunatly the hot water made the tounge shrivel up and one of the shoes almost completley fell apart!!
This put me in a very very very bad mood!!
On a lighter note…
I also picked up these black boots that I didnt do the same thing to just incase.

Also, my sister got the bow tie, the hat and found a scalf in the other local op-shop.
Taygan also found this vest and skirt,

this vest, which she had been looking at for awhile and wasnt sure weather to get it, and also a small valvet skirt which was actually a kids target skirt,
these two flora shirts (that suprisingly go quite well together)
AND, once we had been through all the racks we decided to go through the “costume box” which on many occasions Taygan has found some really good stuff in…
We found this and believe it is the cutest thing in the world!
Once we had finished there we went across to the other op-shop where I absolutley fell inlove with a dressing table. It has big mirrors and is brown. By this time our mum had come down and was in looking with us. She agreed to buy me it as it was only $50! Next to it was also a small stool…
Which is the ugliest thing ever with the orange fluff on it. So Tay and I went back across to the other op-shop to get some cheap material to cover it with and also a doily to put on my dressing table that I should have by Saturday!
I’m very excited.
We did also find these clothes that are being sold on Ebay.

Today is probably one of the coldest days this Autumn so far. We started off with one of the hottest Autumns theres been but now its rather freezing. It’s also been on and off raining all day making the weather quite annoying. But I did manage to put together a little outfit for cold days like this…
Singlet top (underneath everything): Cotton On.
Turtle Neck: Big W
Dress: Not sure.
Floral Shirt: Secondhand
Tights: Target
Socks: Secondhand
Boots: Pay Less Shoes
Gloves: Big W
Jacket: Target
I love this outfit because there is heaps of layers to keep you warm but it doesnt look over “puffy.” It kept me super warm =]
However, I’m going to need/want many more things to survive these cold months…
Singlet tops: Not just plain ones but also printed ones so that I can wear them with skirts or shorts (with tights underneath ofcorse.)
Long sleved tops/turtle necks: Mainly plain colours just to wear under dresses and also with skirts and possibley even under other tops for extra warmth. I’d also like some strippy long sleved tops after seeing Only Shallow’s version of a H&M dress.
Beenies/hats: Just because they are a good accessory and can sheild my frizzy hair. =]
Tights: My sister and I pretty much want ever colour of the rainbow =]
Long socks:Extra warmth and look cute when they poke out the top of boots over tights =]
MORE DRESSES: One can never have too many dresses, expecially floral ones. My sister disagrees about the floral side of this but I believe they are the best, they can make any outfit look 10 times more interesting!
Oversized Bags: At the moment I only really have one of them which is actually my sisters. Its a big brown bag and looks good with most our clothes. But we definetly need more, the only problem is the price. Its pretty rare to find a good one in op-shops and in the normal shops they are just that little bit to dear. So if anyone knows of any cheap places near melbourne, please do share.
Boots: I’m mainly looking for some new brown boots as all of mine are broken =( but I also want some big chunky boots too. Black ones and other gothic looking ones. I’m also in need of some big black Gum-Boots. I’ve wanted some for a couple of years now but have never found good ones.
So pretty much to buy all this stuff I have a total of $25.10. I know what your thinking, “Your an idiot” but infact I’m not, as tomorrow my sister and I are going down to the local op-shop where they are having a $5 bag day. This means we get to stuff as much as we can into a bag and get it for $5!! Although I wont be able to find some of these things I might be able to find a few and maybe even some other cute things too. =] I’m also on the look-out for a red flannelette shirt for my boyfriend (although I am pretty much against these on girls now I still like them on guys) so I’m hoping I’ll find that there. =]
So, obviously tomorrow I’m going to have a great amount of stuff (hopefully) that I can take pictures of to show you all =]
So I guess I’ll see-yah tomorrow!
My sister is currently in the progress of making me a header. Its going to involve some kind of cup-cake that she found on a blog. Although that cup-cake is very cute, I suggested we use this one…
Its the cutest cup-cake ever. But she isn’t going to use it =[ That cup-cake is my hero.

I am buying a new phone. At the moment I am borrowing my dads phone, its a peice of shit, and he wants it back. So, even though I have no money I am in search of a new phone. Last year for my birthday I was given a Sony Erricsson W850i. It was the first phone my parents had ever bought me and they had spent a fair amount of money on it. But it broke within a month. I had originally wanted it because my sisters boyfriend, leigh, had it and thought it was the best phone ever. After mine stopped working his broke 3 times. Only lucky for him he had bought it from a shop and so it had warrenty, unlike mine that we bought off Ebay and had zero warrenty.
So this time I thought I would go for a Nokia since every nokia I have had hasnt broken. (I’ve just lost it or gotten over it) So at the moment Im admirering these two phones…
Both of these phones are pretty similar, they both have good quality music players and cameras which is pretty much what I’m looking for. (I mean, who uses their phone as an actual “phone” these days?)
But, as I said in my last blog… I need a job. So I cant afford either of these phones at the moment. But as soon as I do get money one of these phone will be the first thing I buy!
I’m seriously turning into an Ebay-aholic! The only problem is, I find all this cool stuff but I never have any money, which makes me even more angry!!
My new obsession right this very second is these gloves…
Are they not just the coolest things you have ever seen??

Theres really only a small difference, and I can’t say I really like them that much. For the price they are a bit of a rip off. I think everyone will get over them really quickly.

In the middle of writing my last blog I thought I should “preview” it to see how it was going. Of corse, I didnt realise that it opened in a different window. So I clicked around and then I found a window that my sister had previously been looking at.
I’m fairly sure she had shown my these earlier but of corse I was still half asleep and not really paying attention.
But anyway on the page was these shoes, and as soon as I saw them (for a second time) I fell inlove with them!

Today is possibley going to be the most boring of the whole holidays.
My family is currently in the progress of painting our house, now, for some people this wouldnt be that bigger task. But for us… well… its a HUGE one. Although my house doesnt seem that big on the inside, its quite big on the outside. This probably doesnt make any sence at all for you but if you saw it it would make sence. Thankfully my boyfriend is coming up to help so that we can actually afford to go to Melbourne tomorrow so that I can get him the second part of his birthday present.
So probably the most exciting thing I’ve done today would be trying to figure out what to wear tomorrow.
So yes, I am one of those “plan the night before” people.
Althought when it comes to the morning I normally end up changing my outfit anyway due to the stupid weather we have here.
So far this is what I have…

And although you can’t see it in the main picture I’m actually wear a small skirt, which is actually pretty much just a peice of material that covers my butt, that my sister made.
I really just liked the browns of this outfit. And even though I’m not really a hat person I thought that the hat complimented the outfit quite nicely!

Compared to the other outfit this one is obviously alot more colourfull!
The dress was actually alot longer when it was bought but my sister cut it much shorter which made it look alot better.

The boots are also about a half a size to small, and Im not sure if you can see it but on the front and back of the shoes are metal bits which sometimes fall off due to them being too small. But there just so cute, yeah?
So anyway, I think I’m leaning more towards the first outfit as its alot more comfortable.
Thats generally a strange thing for me to say…
But since we are going to melbourne which normally means alot of walking I think I should try and be atleast a little comfy =]
Welcome to my very first blog post!
I know most people dont actually read the first post. Infact, it takes awhile until your blog gets read at all. But thats fine since I’m not one hundred percent sure on what this blog is about, but I have a slight idea. So that will help give me a head start =]
Mainly, it will be based on fashion. But every once in awhile I’ll throw in the od cooking post just to mix it up a little =]
Fashion and food are probably my favourite things at the moment, not really just food in general but actually making it myself. I mainly like vintage clothing which also makes me want vintage things for my cooking. It all leads into one category after awhile.
I’m sure you’ll get the hang of it.
