Since I came home from my camp to melbourne early on thursday night, I was bribed to go to the city again with my sister the next day. I really didnt want to go but then mum said she would give me money so I was like OKAY!
Heres what I wore:

Jacket, socks and shoes: Target
Shirt: Retrostar?
Belt: Secondhand
Tights: Not sure (there in the bin now anyway)
Dress: Femme Connection.
When I put this all on Taygan told me I look like Alice in Wonderland. Hence the title.
While I was in melbourne I only bought two things…
This wallet I told you I wanted. It was actually $19.95, I was so lucky I got it thought. We went to the Sportsgirl in Melbourne Central first and they only had the camel coloured ones but then we went into the one on Bourke Street and I could see all these people around the wallets and I could see there was only one brown one left so I pretty much ran over and snatched it off the hook. People gave me wierd looks but I was just happy I got it =D
I also got a yellow scalf from Cotton on, since Taygan bought some singlets and some long sleeved tops you could get one of these scalfs for $10 with any purchase other wise they were just $20. So I got one.
And and and and, Taygan bought a American Apparel Dress!!! But more on that later.
I’ve been admiring the Samsung phone I recently wrote a post about for quite some time, but to my horror, when I tried to get it on a Telstra plan it was not possible. I was sooo angry. The only good phone I found was the Nokia N95 but it was on an $80 cap or something ridiculous like that.
However, this morning I told my sister’s boyfriend (who works for Telstra) about my dilemma, he then told me that if I got it on a business cap I could get the phone on a $45 cap and get a heap of other things with it. So, I’m very excited. The next step is just to look at the phone in person since I’m a bit worried about the size of it. Other than that it’s a great phone.

As you can probably see from the pictures, it’s seriously into media. It looks like a proper camera!
And, if you slide the phone one way the keypad comes out but if you slide it the other way the music player keys come out!! I think it’s pretty darn awesome!
If you know anything (problems or good things) about this phone please send me a comment to tell me!
Thanks.
Today I came home from school early due to a sore back, so since it’s my night to cook I thought I would make my mums lasagna.
Recipe: (May Differ)
½ kilo mince meat
1 Jar or Pasta Sauce (500g)
1 Tin of tomatoes (400g)
2 Large tbsp margarine
2 Large tbsp flour
3 cups of milk
Tomato Mixture
Brown mince.
Add pasta sauce, tomatoes and mushrooms (optional) and allow to simmer.
Béchamel Sauce
Melt margarine.
Add flour and stir. Place in microwave for about 30sec, stir. Slowly add milk, stirring well. Place in microwave for 3min, remove and stir, then put in microwave for another 2min, mixture should be thick but pourable.
Add half of the tomato mixture to the bottom of the lasagna dish. Place lasagna sheets over the top, then add half of the Béchamel sauce over the top. Put the rest of the tomato mixture and the Bechamel Sauce on top using the same method as before.
Sprinkle afew handfuls of cheese over the top.
Allow to cook for 40min on 180 degrees (or until brown.)
(Sorry I couldnt get any pictures but it was eaten really quickly!)
No matter how long its been around black nail polish just seems to stay in fashion. Weather its to go with the “emo” trends for early teens at the moment or if its just the only thing they can find, it seems like everyone is wearing it. Personally, I believe the black phase is getting old and boring, but moving to fluros would be no better. So, I thought all was lost until today when I received an email from style.com where I found a thing on nail polish and what to go for this season, they too are trying to get away from the blacks but instead of moving towards the fluros they are going in a much different direction…

They suggest darker colours. (but not black) I love the blue expecially. The dark colours would also suit almost everyone just as black does. These products are available for $18 from rescuebeauty.com. Its pretty steep for just some nail polish, but I’m sure there will be plenty of others out soon.
Don’t ask me how many times I had to say that within the past 2 hours. I had my first day of work today. Unfortunatly I stuffed up alot, but I managed to pull it together towards the end, but the start was torture! The boss, Kate, said she thought she has made a good choice by chosing a Thursday, thinking it would be very quite like it normally is, but today was PACKED! It was pretty good though, they were all really nice. Hopfully next week will be alot better. =S
Since I’m going back to school tomorrow, I’ll be back to my foods class. Which means I can do some food posts! Ill probably take a camera to school on the days I have it and take some pictures of my partner Dani and myself in the progress of cooking!
Keep a look out for some yummy food posts xD
I’m kind of scared, the other day my sister and I went into Sportsgirl and I actually really wanted some stuff. Not so much clothes but other things.
So I went to look on their website and I found some pretty cool stuff…
Wallets:
Quilt Stitch Clutch. $29.95

I’d go brown with these, I just like the soft leather they are made out of. It makes them look like they have been used forever. (sort of)
Basic Wallet $19.95

This is the one I’m seriously considering buying. I really need a new wallet since the one I have now doesn’t really hold much money. But this one is just basic and cute. Its also the least expensive and it looks like it would hold alot.
Andy Wallet $29.95

I love the detail on this. Once again, like all the wallets, I really like the soft leather. It just looks so nice (and while I was in the store I picked one up and it felt nice too.)
Tights:
Marel Ribbed Full Tights. $29.95

I need these!! I would die to death if I dont get them for this Winter!!
Light Weight Ribbed Tights. $14.95

These ones would be good for the “not so cold” days. I just love ribbed tights. They make things look that much better =]
Wood Button Hand Wamers. $16.95

These are just really cute. I just want them for school or something. (They’d look really cute with my school uniform) Also the price isnt too bad either so I might invest in some of them.
Speed Racer Leather Gloves $59.95/Double Button Leather Gloves $59.95

Meh, I just want both of these. Leather gloves are awesome!
Boots:
Brook Boot $199.95/ Regina Vintage Boot $189.95

The Brooke Boots are a bit too expensive for what they are, but the Regina Vintage Boots are worth it!! I absolutly love them! Best detail. I must have them. I think I’ll start saving (I really need to put my savings in order of what I need most)
Bags:
Delilah Bag $39.95/Fi Fi Bag $49.95

I really like both of these bags, I think Sportsgirl put really good detail into these kinds of things. And I guess the price isnt too bad. I probably wouldnt find anything much cheaper then this for a good quality bag.
I think mainly dont shop there because of the price and then the fact that you buy something and a few days later everyone has it! But if I just buy little bits and then wear it with my op-shop things it could go quite well.
=]
None of these things I really NEED, but I do want them.

1. Orange Scalf: What can I say? I just want one. Expecially an orange one, that would look good with heaps of stuff I have. It looks kind of like its just a random peice of material shes found and shes just wrapped it around her neck a couple of thousand times. I like it.
2. Green Skirt: I’m absolutly inlove with this skirt, my sister and I already have thousands of highwaisted skirts and nothing to wear them with but I love this one soooo much! I found it on a blog a while back (dont remember which one) and I just fell inlove with it. I don’t even know where its from or what brand it is. So if anyone knows, give me a shout!
3. Gothic Platform Boots: My sister and I are currently having an obsession with big scary boots (and wearing them with cute little outfits) I’ve always loved the gothic boots, ever since seeing the movie “Loser,” but I’ve never bought any. There is actually a fashion shoot with Gemma Ward in it where she is wearing them and they just look so cute!! The ones shes wearing are from Chloe or something. =S
4. Black Skirt: Origami? Well, thats what it reminds me of. Theres actually a picture on my wall of an origami skirt and it looks really awesome. Once again, another high-waisted skirt I’ll have nothing to wear with.
5. Gothic High-Healed Boots: I’m not sure if I’d rather the platforms or just heals.
6. Black Bubble Skirt: This just reminds me of something I already have…

I’m not exactly sure why… but it just does.
7. Mrs Harvey’s Sister-In-Law, and other tastey dishes: I’m in love with cook books. I love all the cute ones that are all olden day recipes, past down generation by generation. Expecially when they have cute covers. I have already started my collection with “Afternoon Tea” which I bought from a Frankie Magazine…

I’ve pretty much made “Cute little recipe books” the thing I collect. (I’m thinking I should get onto Ebay.)
8. Tu-tu: Possibley not one like this, but I just want a tu-tu. I was thinking maybe one like the one in the opening credits for Sex In The City. I think it would go quite well with either the gothic boots of even the Marc Jacob boots.
9. Dress: I just love this dress, I reckon its the cutest! Once again, it would go with so much in my wardrobe. I think it would be a good thing to add. I don’t remember where this one is from either. But I like it alot!
Now all I need to do is get some money, and also find some things that would go well with them.
Wish me luck!
I keep not writing posts. I took pictures for all three of these days and everything but I just didnt do any posts which is weird. Well, for starters…
On Wednesday Mum, Rogan (brother), Callum and I went to meet my Aunty and Cousins in Melbourne. I was hoping that we would be going atleast near some op-shops or somewhere good but instead we went to Smith St. Now, for those of you who havn’t been to Smith St. in Melbourne, Victoria, (or for anyone who just wants to know my view on it) I would label it “Jock Paradise” Pretty much all there is is big factory outlets of Nike and other various sport shops and a couple of surf shop. Not very fun. On our way back from there we went via Watergardens (which is very very mainstream and also quite annoying in itself) to get just some basics which it is good for. Whilst I was coming back from the toilets I noticed some girls serving in a food shop were looking at me and smiling and pointing at me (obviously at my clothes) and of corse, my thoughts were “YESS! Just the reaction I was looking for!”

Belt: Unknown
Vest: Secondhand
Shirt: Retro Star?
Skirt: Retro Star
Tights: I’m actually wearing two pair of tights, a hot pink pair which are from some cheapo shop, and then a white pair over the top that my sister bought off Ebay. I got the idea for the leggings off Style Bubble.
On Thursday I did nothing almost all day except go out for dinner with my family (cousins and all) we went to La Porchetta in Watergardens. And, Thursday being late night shopping my sister and I were able to buy some things we were in need of (and admire some pretty boots) once we had eaten dinner. I went reasonabley casual (for me) and wore an outfit I had worn before (adjusted to suit the weather though.)

Cardigan: Target
Dress: Secondhand
Tights: Target
Boots: Secondhand
Belt: Secondhand.
I find this outfit perfect, I wear it to anywhere that I shouldnt be too dressed up. And I love the ugly, AWESOME dress. And, although you would look at it and think it would go with nothing, it goes with most of the things in my wardrobe. (Possibley has something to do with all the other weird stuff thats in there.)
As for today (Friday) it was even more quiet then Thursday. Pretty much all I did was go to the trainstation to get Callum and then later on drop him off and go get my sister from work.
But, since I did nothing I put together something cool to wear just cause I was bored…

Under Dress: Living Doll
Dress: Sports Girl
Belt: ??
Scalf: Secondhand
Tights: Secondhand
Boots: Vintage
The boots we actually my mums, she gave them to my sister and I awhile ago but there about a size to small for us, so recently we poored hot water in them and walked around in them with big fluffy socks on and now they are quite comfy (until you take them off and your toes hurt) but I really love them, they are such an awesome height but perfect cause there flat.
I loved the weird looks I got off people today while I walked down the street. Weather they were good or bad looks I dont know but I love all of them!
